Crochet Trim

Today, I made the cutest Crochet Trim ever!!!  I started out with a dish cloth that someone gave my mom. Here is the dish cloth before............

And here is the dish cloth after.
I think this is so fun to do. I am going to put some directions up to show how to do it.
Here are the supplies that you need. a dish cloth (or what ever you want to put a trim on), a skein of yarn (any color you want), a crochet needle (I use a 6 mm size needle, but you can use what ever size you want.), and some scissors.
To start making your trim, you need to make a slip knot on your crochet needle.
After you make your slip knot, you want to take you dish cloth and poke your needle into the top corner of your dish cloth.
Then you want to wrap the yarn around your needle one time.
After that, you want to pull the rag through over your yarn so you end up with two loops and wrap your yarn around again.
Then you want to pull through the two loops so you end up with one loop on your needle.
Then you want to do what is called a chain and chain five.
After that, you want to poke your needle about a half inch from where you started and repeat the steps until you get to where you started.
After you finished all the steps till you are at the end, to end, you chain five and poke your needle into the hole you started in.
After that, you need to wrap your yarn around your needle and pull through so you have a loop.
Then you want to cut the loop.
Then pull the extra string.
Now you have two strings.
Tie them together and cut.
Your crochet trimmed dish rag is complete!!! Congratulations! :)
Thank you for joining me on how to make a crochet trimmed dish rag. May God bless your day!
